MiraLago at Parkland provides the quintessential luxury lifestyle where amenities are king and the small details matter. This housing development is a master-planned community that offers unprecedented water access to the majority of residents. In addition, it features homes with up to 4,700 square feet of living space. The crowning achievement of luxury developers Lennar Home Builders, it made sense that any signage used there had to fit the atmosphere.
Creating the Right Lobby Sign
The J.A. Fardella Design Firm contacted the professionals at Stellar Signs & Graphics on behalf of Lennar’s MiraLago property. They needed lobby signage that would bespeak the luxury lifestyle their designs afforded homeowners. Lobby signs for home builders in Palm Beach County are frequently functional but in this case, it had to be much more than that.
We created a customized dimensional sign that features 3/8” script that is laser cut out of black acrylic. Other signage components, too, are laser cut. The customized colors feature rich metallic gold and bronze. We assembled the various elements onto a ¼” white acrylic board. The combination of colors and the three-dimensional effect of the display look sophisticated and perfectly brand the housing development.
What Type of Lobby Marker Do You Need?
If you are in the home development business, it is always a good idea to take a cue from the overall atmosphere of the neighborhood when thinking through the design of your lobby signage. After all, what looks great in one office may look completely out of place in another one.
- Capturing the vision. We like to come out for a site survey before sketching a possible design. This allows us not just to take measurements and discuss your branding message, but it also lets us to take in the overall vibe of the location. This is an invaluable part of the process.
- Choosing the focal wall. In many cases, the focal wall is the standard wall right behind the receptionist’s desk. Yet this is not always the case. In some settings, it may be a side wall or a freestanding wall.
- Picking a look. Do you like the idea of seeing dimensional letters mounted to your wall? Do you prefer the use of dimensional letters on an acrylic board? Maybe you like the artistic appearance of a multi-layered acrylic board setup? There are plenty of choices that allow you to select the appearance that suits you best.
- Selecting the materials. Metal, acrylic, foam or plastics are just a few of the choices open to you.
