We’re only three days away from the big day! Since Christmas Day will soon be here, the entire Stellar Signs & Graphics team wants to wish you a very Merry Christmas! As we pointed out in last week’s blog, we acknowledge that this year’s celebrations will be quite different than the ones we’ve all had in past years. The pandemic continues to be a problem, of course, but we hope it will end at some point in the new year. We invite you to join us in feeling a renewed optimism about the future.

We also encourage you to enjoy the spirit of the holiday season. COVID-19 may have put a stop to many things this year, but it can’t stop Christmas from coming! Here’s hoping we can all find new and inventive ways to celebrate the big day.

In what new ways can you celebrate Christmas during the pandemic?

On GoodHousekeeping.com, Juliana LaBianca contends that you don’t need to leave the house in order to have a day full of cozy, creative fun. She recommends a long list of Christmas activities to help your celebration to be merrier than you may think it will be. Among her suggestions are some traditional favourites like decorating your home, cooking festive meals, baking Christmas cookies, reading Christmas books and watching Christmas movies.

However, LaBianca also suggests a few unique tasks such as having a video chat with Santa, playing “Reindeer Ring Toss”, singing Christmas karaoke, making Christmas masks and hosting a virtual Christmas party. “Just because you can’t get together in person doesn’t mean you can’t see your friends and family on Christmas,” she writes, “Send everyone a Zoom link and host your party online. Make sure you’ve got a few games and conversation starters ready too.”
